I have worked as a carer in a care home for 4 years and stopped in 2014 to start my own cleaning / companionship business, which I have done until now. In that time I have looked after my husband who had cancer, and to some extent, my father in law, who had dementia, as well as some of my clients who had similar ailments. I also looked after my own Grandmother after she had a stroke before I came to the UK. I am British, although I came here from Thailand 11 years ago. I am a driver with a car and I'm prepared to go anywhere in the UK if the conditions and salary are right. I am open to all offers, and I will decide based on the circumstances. I'm a good talker and listener, and prefer to be with someone who likes a good chat, and is friendly and outgoing as I am. I'm fairly well travelled, and I've done a lot for my age, 37, and I still have a husband and an almost grown up son, who will hold the fort whilst I'm away. ...

Hi there I am looking for live-in or live-our care I live in Ayr ayrshire and have my own transport I am 44 years of age with 10 years experience of care work.2 years doing community care and 8 years doing live-in care.with the live-in care I can provide references for you with both my clients that were my regulars I also looked after my uncle before he went into nursing home who has dementia doing all his personal care housework and shopping my preferred salary range would be over £700 a week. I am an ex nurse with 15 years hospital experience and more than 8 years of live in care . I find one on one caring is much suited for me as I can be more effective in personal care for an individual .I have experience in complex care , naming , catheter care , incontinence care, bowel management , personal hygiene , medication , suctioning , tube feeding , ventilation care or just giving companionship .I am flexible and able to adopt to any situation that may arise . I am not a driver , so I am more suited for someone who is bed ridden who have a more complex medical needs who wanted to stay home instead of hospital.I prefer a salary of at least £900 a week and can work 3 weeks at a time with a week or 2 weeks off . I am a qualified Psychology teacher with a year's experience of caring for the elderly (2004). I have experience with looking after someone with Alzheimers as well as experience with neural damage and physical disability. I have very recently completed online training courses which would satisfy the criteria for the Care Certificate as I am aware my care experience is a long time ago. I have an up to date DBS and First Aid. I have a calm and quiet presence and love to chat and listen. I am a decent cook and love being in the kitchen also. I am available to start immediately and would look to earn between £600 and £700 per week. I do not drive. I am a non-smoker. ...
