Younger version of Mrs Doubt fire here. My name is Janie, and have may years of live in carer experience. I've worked with family members since I was a teen, one of whom suffered from dementia, severe arthritis and depression, he also had severe complications as a result of having diabetes. I was also a live in carer for a gentleman who was a quadriplegic. I've experience in moving and handling, hoist and electric wheelchair usage. Bathing, showering, meal preparation, medication dispensing and catheter care. I've a range of medical knowledge due to working with certain individuals who needed special attention, from dysreflexia, dementia, mobility issues and cognitive impairment. I would prefer long term live in contracts, and with my knowledge base and years of experience would assume that a weekly salary of £550 wouldn't be asking too much, though I am open to negotiation depending on the circumstances.
