Hi, I am a senior occupational therapist and nurse, but I am not registered in the UK. I would like to work as a live in caregiver in the UK. I have experience in both my occupations, especially with the elderly, and children with disabilities. In my opinion, I can provide to client even more than “just” care, because I am fully focused on the well-being of my clients and I am glad to use all my knowledge and experience to help them find the best way to use all their potentials and their remaining abilities, of course all based on responsible specialists, nurses and therapists recomendation. I will provide and accept all duties of a caregiver, such as meal preparation, toilet, personal hygiene acording high level standards and provide assistance in any personal needs that my client may have. I am currently at home, Croatia, but I am ready to start and move to the United Kingdom in July 2020. Considering salary, I think £ 600-700 per week would be great. ...

I am a 48yr old caring gentleman. My previous experience has been in the construction industry. Growing up, I had the opportunity of looking after my ailing grandfather who was suffering from dementia. While I missed out on numerous social events involving people my age, the aid I provided to my grandfather was extremely fulfilling. I have a total of 20 years experience working within social care field. In roles, ranging from a carer/live-In-carer, to project worker, keyworker, support worker, senior support worker, family support worker, outreach worker, waking night worker and social work assistant. As well as working as a PA/facilitator for a disabled radio producer at the BBC. With client groups including children, children with disabilities, adolescents and adolescents with challenging behaviour and those who self harm, to the elderly, the mentally ill & clients with substance dependencies, women in refuges, and adult's with learning and physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. These were in supported living and independent living homes, day centres (where I ran group sessions), women’s refuges, and outreach work in the community, and in charitable housing departments, and social service departments. ...
