Looking for live in work only, minimum of one week placement. My preferred working pattern is two to four weeks on with one to two weeks off. I am happy to chat about clients requirements to come to a plan that suits as both. My desired salary range is £ 800 to £950 Self employed. I am a 56 year old female. I started within the care industry at 16 living in a residential home, where I did night duty for clients with mid to advance stage dementia. My career has encompassed many different conditions from sensory disabilities to stroke, brain injuries, complex care, peg feeding, catheter and stoma care, companionship,physio to end of life. I have worked within the care profession for over 15 years with breaks to raise my family. My most recent clients have all been live in. I have a DBS on update service, full UK driving license, up to date care certificate. UTR to be self employed. References by request. I am looking for a live-in carer's job. I am helpful, responsible, trustworthy and caring. I have worked as an English teacher for 30 years in Estonia. In 2013 I worked as a live-in carer for an English gentleman in Kent, after his stroke, in his home, and we got on really well. I have had carer's training both in Estonia and England in two care companies. Last year (2016) I worked as self-employed looking after a man with dementia (8 months) and as an employee caring for a lady with arthritis and asthma. In 2017 I helped a lady suffering from dementia, in Bexleyheath, London. I worked as a private live-in carer for another lady with dementia in Woodford Green, Essex. I have a transferrable DBS online, NI number, a British bank account. Unfortunately, I don't drive. I am a very caring hard working reliable person who has worked in care through out my working life . When I left school in 1981 I started working with race horses which then led me into elderly care for a few years from there I worked in the NHS including coranry care for three years. After being my dad's full time carer for 12 yrs I worked with adults with learning disabilities for 9 yrs including taking them on holiday in the UK and abroad. For the last year of been driving across Europe transporting rescued cats and dogs as well as doing care work looking after elderly in their own homes and supporting three gentle men with learning disabilities when their full time carer has a holiday . I have a current advanced DBS with will be renewed in the next few weeks through Coventry City Council who I do care work for with in their Shared life scheme. I also have advanced DBS through the national health service with is on update so always up to date. I have a full driving licence which I have held for 35 yrs I am a confident driver and I have business use insurance to take people out . I have been a live in carer over the past two years with different people, one gentleman with scribal-palsy who was full time used an electric wheel chair, he also have a super pubic catheter, I have experience and training in the use of peg feeding as well, I am currently supporting a lady in her own home who is rheumatoid and kidney transplant on a lot of medication which i manage for her and set up her dos-sit boxes.I drive her in to London to meeting on a regular basis and all over the country when needed . ...
