After a career in sales, marketing and customer service, I was thinking about early retirement when circumstances saw me in the role of a carer. This role has now come to a conclusion but on reflecting, I realise that not only have I felt fulfilled, but I am actually good at it (not blowing my own trumpet, but based on feedback!) I am adept at running a home, catering for social occasions, fitting easily into the routines of others and I am a practical and pragmatic planner. I am a good cook and during the lockdown I attained a diploma in the management of hotel operations and a certificate in catering hygiene. I love gardening and would welcome the opportunity to do so with someone else in mind. My Christian faith is important to me. I drive, having a full, clean license. My interests include antiques (especially art deco) and writing plays and short stories: I am published. I hold extended CRB/ safeguarding clearance. ...
