My husband and I are currently living in South Africa but have children, grandchildren and family living in the United Kingdom. My inspiration to became a caregiver steamed from my experience of assisting my mother to take care of my grandmother who was diagnosed with stomach cancer while I was 10. In her last months we were in-charge of her hygiene, eating and most importantly make her comfortable and happy. I realized that the basic things like eating, walking, talking, personal hygiene and love that we take for granted are invaluable to the elderly and unable in society. The recent the Covid-19 has exacerbate my passion to study caregiving even more and work in the field. I have also been a community health worker in my area currently in Qatar. Working with Local groups, we focused on the elderly and children in the expat community.The last 5 years has seen me work in the hospitality industry in Qatar. I am seeking and opportunity to further my inspiration to study and work in your establishment and be a caregiver to the elderly and un abele in the society. ...
