I currently work for an agency as a carer but want to branch out on my own as I feel we don’t get enough time to give the clients the care they need , I have been a carer for a number of years which I love i wish I would of been a carer years ago I just seemed to take to this job like a dick to water I have a great relationship with all my clients at the moment I am a community carer making between 25-30 calls a day which is very tiring and work between 60-70 hours a week so I would like to have a change and devote all my time to one person it makes me happy that I can make someone else’s life a bit easier I have all the experience in personal care administrating medication helping with chores and shopping also manual handling of the client needs to use equipment hoist/standaid for transfers if needed my job is classed as re-ablement carer so looking after clients who have been in hospital or suffering f with dementia/Alzheimer’s/spinal injuries . ...
