My name is Gourmete, I am a French lady who lives In the Province of Heraklion on Crete in the summer and in Bath Somerset in the winter , I gathered a range of experiences in the Hotel industry and working with people(eldery and children) I have experience of working in various people-facing roles using my range of language skills: (English German Italian,Spanish, Greek basics and French as a mother tongue) I have been doing live-in care in the winter since 2013 I am a bubbly good humoured person who loves being involved in activities as well as dealing with people I relish the challenge of a new situation as can be seen from my fairly diverse experience- I am not worried about new situations. or taking responsabilities. We are couple in our mid fifties and looking a tenure as live-in carers. Annie has been employed for the last 7 years in Brendoncare Home in Winchester and will provide the main full time caring duties. Has DBS certificate and up-to date training courses. Caring and compassionate person with good character and attention to detail. Mario is an engineer involved in critical national infrastructure and able to offer up to 30 hours weekly assistance with driving, general house upkeep and cooking. Hello my name is Tracey Anne, I have a number of interests from dancing, music, walking, wild swimming, climbing and playing board games (I am known to cheat) I am described as being extremely emphatic, and have a very bubbly personality with a positive outlook on life. I worked in a family business for nearly 20 years where I carried many different tasks from arranging hospitality events to booking appointments. I started my own business in 2014 designing soft furnishings which were marketed and sold all over the world. I also studied British Sign Language for 4 years which was great fun, and wrote a wonderful children’s book. I have a lovely daughter Perrie, who is recently married, she is a Primary School teacher and I am so very proud of her. I have worked privately for a number of clients and for a mental health charity where I received a Q award for my dedication, compassion and help in changing people's lives, I came 2nd out of 6000 nominees which was amazing. In 2021 I was working in Whitley Bay privately for a lady who was very elderly and suffering from dementia, I loved working with Jean and her wonderful family and we had some really special times and enjoyed doing crosswords, singing and watching strictly come dancing, I have built bonds with the family that will last forever, Jean enjoyed sitting around her dining room table reading her paper and enjoying home cooked meals and cakes. My duties with Jean included, cooking home cooked meals, cleaning, all household duties, administering medication, personal care, arranging trips to the hairdressers and beauty salon (Jean loved her hair and nails done). My next placement was with Terry a wonderful gentleman who was suffering from dementia, Terry had two lovely dogs and he enjoyed to be out walking with them and having a nice picnic, he also enjoyed playing dominoes and watching classic comedies. My duties included, administering medication, personal care, cooking fresh meals, ensuring a safe environment, walking the dogs, shopping, attending appointments, doing exercises, cleaning, washing and ironing. I have been working in Surrey for nearly 2 years now with a lovely man who has Parkinson’s and dementia. I live in Cumbria but I am from London, I am happy to travel so I can visit new places.
