I am currently working as a Registered Nurse and have been a nursing sister with stroke/ rehab/ surgical/ district nursing / palliative and practice sister experience, and am still currently employed. I have training in chronic disease management and have diplomas in Asthma / COPD. Currently I am a Peer Vaccinator and I have been involved in giving the Covid vaccines , and now the boosters along with the Flu vaccines. I have extensive nursing qualifications, have up to date training in moving and handling, CPR, Fire, safeguarding vulnerable children/ adults .I have extensive documentation which can be provided for scrutiny. My nursing skills are quite varied and I can fit most roles, but I love to care for my patients on a one to one basis. I am looking for live in care work Nationwide and abroad, so distance is no barrier. My English language level is Advanced along with my professional education. I am a mature professional lady just returned back to the UK and wish to ease back into UK working life. I have worked as a carer prior to obtaining my Social Work degree (2003-2009) and as a Child Protection Social Worker since then in UK (2010-2018) and in Australia (2018- April 2021). From May 2021, I travelled to Rwanda, Africa where I have been until a few days ago 20 Nov 2022) on my career break. I am a very confident sociable individual, flexible, proactive, amongst other traits which I feel would make this job an ideal opportunity for me.
