I have just completed 7 months as carer (& housekeeper.) to an 86 y.o. lady with vascular dementia. I lived in and my shifts were mornings including massage ,making breakfast companionship, and evenings, assitting her at bedtime with some gentle leg massage + care cover at night if it needed. I had altternate w/e's off.. 2 other part time carers shared the afternoon shifts. My responsibilities included, diet, hydration, singing and encouraging her to play piano, and lay my guitar , house cleanliness, laundry, groceries. Previous to this I came back to care ( live in ) for my 922 y.o mother for 1 year untili her death in May '22( cancer). 1990 1 year psychiatric nurse student Cefn Coed Swansea 1989 1 year auxillary nurse Carmarthen Hospital 1988 6 months care assistant Blaennos Care home Llandovery 1985 - 1988 owner and chef Checkpoint cafe, Harford, Lampeter ...

Hello! My name is Tomasz. I come from Poland and I have 2-week voluntary experience with mental disabled people in Camphill Comunity in Wójtówka in 2005 and also occasional voluntary experience with cerebral palsy with my friend between 2010-2020 ( personal assistant on rehabilitation holidays and help with travelling by car and train). And last experience as a live in carer with eldery man in Germany 2022 ( 8 weeks). So I am quite hard working, open to new challenges and learnig new skills although I have done many jobs so I'm quite reasonable and have common sense.
