I'm an English hard working, mature lady with 8 years plus of varied experience working in the care sector as a live in carer privately and with agencies. Also, within a hospital setting for 18 months as a bank HCA in all depts. I work professionally & conscientiously e.g. worked 6 months without break during covid to prevent infection. My experience covers elderly, dementia, cancer, Alzheimer’s, tetraplegic, cerebral palsy, stroke, brain injury, Stoma/ catheter and palliative care with male & female customers, single & couples. Equipment skills, Catheter, convene, Stoma, Turnsafe, hoists, banana board, blood pressure, wheelchair electric & manual, mobility aids, shower chair & hoist, commode etc. I prefer to work live in 1/2 weeks on & 2/4 off. I would prefer more complex care. My mandatory training is updated annually, Oct 2023. Computer & smart phone literate, Good cooking skills, meals from scratch, fresh veg etc, Excellent cleaning skills & hygiene conscious. Enhanced DBS. Driver manual & automatic, & modified car or van with clean licence. Not car owner. Fully vaccinated covid 3rd booster Oct 2023 & flu. Salary preferred self employed status, weekly salary from £1000 plus paid weekly from invoice. Usual bank holiday double pay. I also completed 1000 hours of placement during the completion of the Bachelor of Social Work in Australia.
