I have supported children and adults with learning disabilities in a work, family and volunteer capacity. Over time, I have worked with individuals of all ages and have provided different types of assistance to help them reach their goals. My main work roles have included providing support with independent living tasks, helping clients to build meaningful friendships and relationships, leading group activities and events, offering emotional support, and providing guidance and motivation. I have also had the opportunity to engage in various forms of advocacy work, including offering support and information to families and professionals.
