I’m Richard, my friends call me I recently I wanted to do something very different with my life and become a support worker in Warwickshire. I was assigned for a lovely young man with cerebral palsy. Adam is quadriplegic and needed support in every aspect of his day. Everyday I strived to make him believe that nothing was impossible. While it may have been done slightly different with his medical condition, we would always find a way around it. Even to the extent that Adam fulfilled he dream of being a Zoo Keeper for a day at Twycross Zoo. Now this may sound a strange thing to say but Adam was very lucky in life. Yes he had his limitations with parts of his life, but he has parents who love him very much and a granddad who dotes on him. There was one other person in his life that he loved very much, and that was his uncle Rich. You may now guess that’s me and I’m very proud to say this. I also supported a family of three young boys with Autism. ...
