Hi there,

My name is Yasmeen Danboyah, I am 25 years old. I have a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical science.

I am friendly, hard-working, reliable, trustworthy and caring person who is looking for stable and consistent employment with a live-in care organisation who has a positive reputation within the industry.
I have 2 years experience as a carer. I enjoy listening to older people, I am a very patient person and am always happy to work at my clients pace, following their lead.

I am experienced in personal grooming and I enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support. I work well with other palliative care team members, such as doctors, and also with supporting family members with respite care.

I became a carer while looking after my grandmother. When she died, I decided to carry on, working as a carer to support elderly people.

I love reading, especially crime fiction novels and romance, I read journals too. I am a good cook! It’s a big part of my life and I love trying out new recipes. As living half of my life in Italy one thing I learned is to eat healthy delicious meals. I’m passionate about sport - both watching and playing, I played quite a few sports including Volleyball for 8 years.

I want to become a Live - in Care Assistant for three specific reasons. The first reason is, having had some experience of working in a care home and also caring for a close family relative, I enjoyed the challenge that the role presented, and I also very much enjoyed the responsibility of providing the right level of care to the person I was looking after.

The second reason is, the working hours fit perfectly around my personal life, and I am confident that I can meet the hours specified within the job advert.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, having read the person specification for a Care Assistant, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the qualities and attributes needed to perform the role were a strong match for my own.

I feel confident that, if you employ me as a Live - in Care Assistant you will be impressed with my hard-working nature, the high standards I set myself, and also my commitment to the quality of care.

Please get in touch if you think I could help you.
