I’ve worked as a live in carer in Jersey Channel Islands. I am extremely proud of the job I have done with my first ever client who had severe learning difficulties and epilepsy. I worked with him for 11 months 5 days & 7 nights a week for 11 months straight with no break and no time off. Then I had a 1-month holiday and came back to work another 2 months straight. I am very proud of this and considering the complexity of my client (constant medication changes, epileptic seizures very often happening throughout the night) ...

I would also like to think that I have the knack of communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds and particularly skilled with caring for the elderly. Able to administer medication, personal care including carrying out food preparation, paying attention to detail with fairly good communication skills and most importantly always open to learn. I look forward to meeting you, knowing you, working with you and learning from you hoping I would in return become the right carer for you. ...

A healthcare professional with one year experience in patient care in a hospital. Able to use strong verbal communication skills and humour to develop strong relationships with patients and their families that further guaranteed the provision of excellent patient care. I am enthusiastic about giving health and safety education to my colleagues and trainee healthcare staff. I have always loved to support individuals to be able to fully achieve the best possible outcomes in life and live life to the fullest. I was able to pursue my passion for nursing last year when I enrolled on a Nurse Aid course which I passed exceptionally. Additionally, I completed work experience at a small but busy hospital, collaborating with a team of people who shared the same passion and dedication as l did. My role was to support elderly and disabled patients, by ensuring that they were looked after with dignity and respect, in a happy and safe environment. It was extremely rewarding. ...
