Hi, I’m Paul. I chose to work in care because I genuinely enjoy supporting people to live well, not just basics but in a way that feels meaningful and comfortable for them. For me, it’s about helping someone feel at ease in their own life, whatever that looks like for them. I place a lot of importance on being respectful and non-judgmental. Everyone has their own routines, beliefs, and preferences, and I aim to support that rather than impose anything. I also value getting along well with others — whether that’s the person I’m supporting, family members, or other carers. Over the years I’ve built strong, long-term working relationships, and I’m often asked to return. I’m reliable and take my commitments seriously. I’ve worked flexible hours for many years, so I’m very adaptable to different situations and routines. I’m also careful, professional, and mindful of safety — both in practical terms and in how I conduct myself day to day.
