I am looking for live in carer employment. I would prefer part-time.
I am highly self motivated. I have experience of working as a live-in carer for a person with advanced Alzheimer's. I worked for 27 years as a case manager with people who were homeless. My clients had both mental illness & profound addiction. I worked with the psychiatric and criminal justice systems, as well as health care and housing, both in London, UK, and Toronto, Canada. I currently have a DBS, as well a Canada wide Police Check to work with vulnerable adults. Providing care & companionship with empathy & professional standards is essential. Trust & Kindness are so very important for the person being cared for.
