I have worked in care for over 10 years now, nothing has brought more meaning and joy to my life than knowing I have helped someone. I have worked with a variety of ages in the care work I have done, and I am seeking a new employer. My position as a domiciliary carer has helped me to become proficient in working with and meeting new people. It also has helped to be able to adapt to different work environments effectively. I am a mature Hospitality and Sales professional, originally from Glasgow, I have called Florida my home for many years now. Post college I worked and managed Food and Beverage operations in restaurants, hotels, cruise ships and country clubs before switching to a Sales career , mainly specializing in premium adult malt beverages for various local, national and international manufacturers. This role caught my eye because my mother suffered from dementia later in life and while I visited her in London frequently, I did not have the schedule to spend as much time as I would like. Luckily for her ,my siblings and a terrific home specializing in those with dementia, ensured she had the best care but I would like the opportunity to give back to someone in need of some assistance in her memory My availability is wide open , as I just finished my last assignment and of course I am British Citizen and thus able to work legally.
