I’m a dedicated and a reliable care worker with 11 years of experience. I’m a person who values punctuality and is always keen to learn new skills. Providing care is one of my strongest skills, and I believe I can communicate effectively with people from all background and ages. I can work effectively on my own initiative as well as in a team. I always prioritize organization and plan in advance to achieve any targets I set for myself. I am also very punctual which I believe is a key asset to have any job. Hard-working, fun-loving, but responsible and kind-hearted, I would like to support somebody who wishes to live their life, no matter the barrier ! I have done this since 2011 and privately since 2016. I like fun and learning new things, a bit of travelling, films, meditation, I am not a bad problem solver - when needed and also do not panic in a challenging situation. Apart from assisting my clients directly, I have also had experience in managing a small team of carers in Portsmouth. Now, that was fun ! I am UK, DBS checked and have completed all the relevant training: Medicine Administration Moving and handling Infection Control Adult Safeguarding Mental Capacity Act First Aid ...and so on. This is important, but connecting with my client is equally important. So far, I have met some remarkable people. I like to have things done, like the usual - shopping, whatever chores - but, like to live as well. So going places, shows, exploring, learning is a must. And it is possible ! Personally, I enjoy a good walk in the countryside or at the seaside, swim, light sport activities, lots of ice-cream, watching a film, boxing, sometimes art, music, learning new things, meditation. I like animals in general and cats, dogs, and parrots in particular. I don't mind poisonous snakes either- but these on the telly only please :-) Anyway, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We can always have a chat and /or a trial and see where it will take us. In any case, please have a really nice and successful day ! Martin Oh, Almost forgot: I am a driver and can travel the whole of the UK for the right client. I've got the usual A,B, but a C and T. So if if you have a tractor we can go and ploughing or something, too :-) ...

With a heartfelt dedication to caregiving that began in 1993, I have spent more than three decades supporting individuals and families through some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. My experience includes providing companionship, personal care, and practical support to people living with a wide range of health challenges, including cancer, end-of-life conditions, vascular dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, frailty, injuries, and mobility limitations. Throughout my career, I have worked with both long-term clients and short-term care assignments, continually developing my knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of compassionate care. My priority is always to create a safe, clean, calm, and nurturing environment where each person feels comfortable, respected, valued, and listened to. Alongside personal care and companionship, I am happy to assist with cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and maintaining a well-organised and hygienic home. I understand how important a clean, welcoming environment can be, particularly for people who are frail, recovering from illness or injury, or spending much of their time in bed. I am also an animal lover and greatly appreciate the companionship that pets can bring to a home. I am flexible, reliable, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure my clients and their families feel supported and reassured. I believe that good caregiving is about much more than completing tasks. It is about kindness, dignity, companionship, trust, and treating every individual as a person with their own needs, wishes, routines, and preferences. Ongoing training and professional development are an important part of my commitment to providing excellent care. I undertake yearly training to keep my knowledge up to date and ensure that I continue to follow current best practices. I would be honoured to be a companion, helper, home assistant, and trusted friend to you or your loved one when care and support are needed most. ...
