Hello! My name is Bethany, I live in Pershore, with my sister, my two nephews, and dog Chico. From experience, as well as in depth research, I am confident in my ability to support you with your care needs. Whilst I do not have the direct experience of being a live-in carer, I have worked as a carer within a care home, as well as domiciliary care. I also have experience working as a care co-ordinator, where my role varied massively from day to day, this role gave me the opportunity to learn a lot of new skills and expanded my knowledge massively. I’m a kind and empathetic person. I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology from Aston University. I started doing domiciliary care in my final year of university and then went on to do live in care at the start of the pandemic. I genuinely enjoy being a carer because it is more than just a job. It is a meaningful career because I get to add value to people’s lives. I also enjoy being a carer because I also learn from the people I look after. They impart their wisdom to me which has really helped me as a young person. I treat my clients with dignity and respect. I am reliable and ensure that my clients know that they are safe. Additionally, I don’t hide my bubbly personality as I want my clients to enjoy their life regardless of what health conditions they may have.
