I'm Svetlana, 65 years old, with 35 years work experience as an economist in Bulgaria, and 10 years - in social care industry in United Kingdom. When I decided to change my life and parted with banking carrier, I knew that I want and I can do something better for the people - to give my love and my time I knew that because I had unprofessional experience in care after elderly and sick people at home. It was years ago when I take care about parents of my ex-husband at our home in Bulgaria, to the end of their life. I wasn't being experienced, but my honest love gave me the strength to fight unreservedly for their lives. They both suffered from diabetes and terminat cancer. After five years I lost the fight, but I did my best to make their last days lighter, calmer, happier and worthy. My first job in UK was taking care about an18 month-old twins - a girl and a boy who has a cerebral palsy. After experiencing the joy of my little client's first independent steps as a result of my effort with daily exercises, I realized that caregiving is the new way of my life. It was true happiness to see the boy walking as a little bird with hands up and a big smile on his, mum's and little sister face. This time was a challenge and a blessing for me. I realized that caring for people and their well-being truly satisfies me. Same time I've learned about life in UK - the rules, manners, traditions, and so I decided to continue to develop and live with dignity in this foreign world. Now, 10 years later, I feel and love the "Island" as my second home. On April, 2017, I decided to study and sertificated myself as a carer. I graduated from the Caxton Care Training Services LTD in London, to acquire knowledge and skills to care for the elderly and child level 2. Afterwards I started immediately to work as a live-in carer to 83-year-old client with dementia who after third stroke went to the hospice. Then seven (7) years I did care for a client with brain damage, dementia and terminate prostate cancer, followed by clients suffering mainly from dementia, Parkinson's. My last job brought me new experience in caring for a client with spinal injury. At the moment I'm temporary in Bulgaria to take care for my 92 year old mum and my sister, who suffers from Parkinson's. My experience taught me that elderly and sick people need physical comfort, but most of human affection, looking self-esteem and dignity and the most valuable thing I can give them the time to be there for them. That's why I'm looking for a job as a live-in carer. So, a little about me - I am old but healthy (thanks God), energetic, calm and patient, a highly organised, very tidy and an outgoing individual as well person. I like interacting with children, with adult people particularly through activities. I can cook fresh healthy meals, and I also can baking, ironing, laundry, I am dog lover as well. I am a non-smoker. I also have a clean driving licence with more than 20 years driving experience in Europe and 8 years in UK. I have my own car and some hobbies - to read books, travel to new places, I love to walk, to move in nature, I like to swim, ride a bike, to drive, I love animals, to deal with garden. I love to take a pictures and painting when it's is possible. I'll be happy to have the opportunity to talk with you and to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my experience. Further documents are available on request. Please feel free to contact me for more information. Thank you for taking your time to read my profile, and I look forward to hear from you. ...

I started working as a care assistant with Barchester healthcare in a care home, I worked there for two for years, than I move to another care home with another company jewish care, where I am still working as a care worker. I want to change the way I am working, and I thing living in care is the right job for me. As a carer in care home, I am taking care for several resident at the same time, I prefer to concentrate on one task and one service user because I feel unfair about the care that I am giving to the residents as the level of care for each resident is not the same, and when you are working in a care home the management always ask you to care for resident, which push me to offer a no well care if it is not a poor care and it hurt me personally. Now I am a live in carer, and I worked for more than 6 years in two different companies in mid south and in east Anglia. ...
