As a compassionate care professional with healthcare experience, I am confident in providing person-centred support at home. I volunteered at Princess Royal Hospital, supporting patients with empathy, patience, and practical help, which taught me the importance of building trust and listening to individual needs—crucial skills for live-in care. I also worked as a Medical Laboratory Assistant within the NHS, gaining experience in regulated environments, following strict procedures, and maintaining accurate records. My attention to detail, reliability, and calmness under pressure are assets for this role. Additionally, I served on my school’s Student Safeguarding Team, understanding safeguarding responsibilities, and hold a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, providing a solid understanding of health, medication, and personal care. ...

I am a 51-year-old lady with recent experience helping an 80-year-old gentleman with hoarding issues to de-clutter, clean and make safe his home, as well as providing cooking and companionship. I am intelligent and cultured, enjoying theatre, opera, art and museums, so would ideally seek to be a live-in carer for someone with similar interests. I am happy cooking, cleaning, running errands, helping you get to and from appointments or outings and offering general companionship. I am looking to divide my time between care and part-time salaried work. Looking to move back to my 'home' area of Richmond-upon-Thames, Twickenham, Teddington or nearby. ...

I'm a 40-year-old Brit with a background in African conservation. I returned to the UK in 2025 and discovered a passion for care work. Since then, I've gained around eight months' live-in experience, particularly with dementia, working rotations from a couple of nights to six weeks. I'm comfortable with personal care for men and women, happy to chat and be sociable, but equally good at entertaining myself when someone wants their space. I enjoy finding little routines and strategies that make life easier, and even picked up a company award for going the extra mile early on because of it. I'm regretfully looking elsewhere because my current company can't offer me enough work, but I have nothing but appreciation for their hard work in supporting me. ...
