I am a dedicated and patient live-in carer with over two years of experience supporting people in their own homes. My passion for care comes from a very personal place; alongside my professional work with private clients, I spent nearly a year caring for my own grandfather. This taught me, more than anything else, the importance of treating every person with the utmost dignity, kindness, and respect. Whether it’s having a good chat over a cup of tea or simply making sure your home is a peaceful and positive place to be, I am here to provide support that is tailored to your life. I am a very organized person with a professional outlook, and I look forward to helping you stay independent and happy in your own home. ...

I have had great respect and love for old people since I was a child. I had a very close relationship with my grandparents, and I took part in their care. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to work in the care sector in both the UK and the Netherlands. I gained a lot of experience as a Care Assistant in a nursing home, as a Domiciliar Carer, and as a Live-in carer. I like this job with all its challenges. I would like to develop professionally in various fields, primarily as dementia and end-of-life caregiver. I believe that every person has the right to age with dignity and end their life. I would like to contribute with my experience, my work, and my empathetic, reliable, enthusiastic personality and provide the necessary support and care to those elderly people who need to solve their everyday problems. ...

Currently, I volunteer with Cotton tree Trust a Charity that helps asylum seekers build their confidence through lived experience. My role as a facilitator, is to coordinate the “Heal & Grow” team, organize weekly zoom meeting every Thursday and arrange face to face monthly lunch activities where members freely interact. I communicate and liaise with members from different backgrounds, which has hugely improved my listening skills and patience skills. Also, I signpost members to different communal activities that help their mental health. This involves both adults and children. My work experience as a carer/support worker, I mainly supported adults with personal care, dressing up, assisting with medication, shopping groceries, during laundry, going out for walks in the park and for coffees. Among other roles were also, preparing meals, providing emotional support like watching TV programs together and creating a safe and clean-living environment. ...
