My name is Gary and I am originally from Scotland although I now work with clients all over the UK. I have nationally recognised qualifications and enhanced DBS/PVG.
I work in a person centred way with a broad range of clients, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, dementia, mental illness, palliative care and end of life care. I provide practical and emotional support to help people to live a safe and independent life in their own home and community. This includes medication administration, personal care, continence care, moving and handling using using hoists and other aids, cooking, cleaning and of course companionship. I am also happy to support clients to go on holiday at home or abroad (I have a wide experience of travel all over the world)

I have experience of working with different types of people in often difficult and challenging situations. This has enabled me to develop good communication and interpersonal skills. Over the years I have worked as a chef, baker, barman, fruit picker, motorcycle courier, market researcher and charity fundraiser. I am sociable, adaptable, have initiative, good communication skills and can generally turn my hand to most things.
I love to travel, am a keen motorcyclist, love to cook and am a follower of Celtic football club.
