Croydon Independent Living Scheme

£600 - 800/per week

Job Description

Croydon ILS are recruiting PAs to support disabled people to live independently in the community. Two PAs supporting the same disabled person live rent-free in a separate flat close to the user in leafy Purley CR8.

We offer

  • A flexible two-day-on, two-day-off shift pattern, with every other long (3-day) weekend-off, which means the PAs are paid a generous full-time salary and have a great work-life balance, only working 2 two-day shifts and 1 three-day shift in every two-week period.
  • A separate flat with all the bills paid (including rent, gas, electricity, water, council tax, broadband and TV Licence) that PAs are able to live-in rent-free for six months+ even on the days when they are not working.
  • A starting minimum gross salary of between £600 and £800 per week, (£31,200 and  £41,600 per annum) with additional opportunities to earn more for those wishing to work extra hours.
  • Generous holiday pay and additional cash bonuses are paid for working for four months+ on the scheme.

In contrast to many other similar posts, we do not require Personal Assistants to sleep-over at the home of the service users. It is not necessary to have a driving licence and no previous experience is required, as all training is provided.

We have successfully recruited applicants for over twenty-five years and, in the past, these posts have been very popular with bright and enthusiastic Personal Assistants / Support Workers looking for well-paid, work-experience for Social Care, Nursing, Physiotherapy & other medical professions and also for visitors to the UK on working holidays.

Please email for further information and an application form or download from our website and email your application to both email addresses.
