Job Description

Care is required for a lady with Lewy Body dementia.  She has short-term & long-term memory loss, confusion and experiences sundowning

She is at risk of falls and sometimes freezes/finds it difficult to move

This lady needs help with her personal care, is doubly incontinent and wears pads

She walks with the aid of someone’s arm

She can be restless at night

Husband is self-caring, and carers will need to help him with cooking, shopping, housekeeping, laundry/ironing, and collecting prescriptions

Carers should have up-to-date training - preferably including dementia training, DBS online update service and proof of correct right to work.
