Job Description

A second, long-term live-in carer sought to provide 24-hour care to an elderly lady living with dementia, recently having transferred from a residential home back to care in her own new home. 
She needs constant companionship and reassurance that she is not alone. Poor eyesight and hearing make activities difficult, but she is still mobile and can be encouraged to go out to the cafe for tea and cake! 
12-hour shift pattern to be shared by 2 carers, providing day/night cover. 1 week off every 4 weeks. Can be flexible if agreed by both carers. 
The person must have experience of dementia care, and excellent skills in diversion, medication and personal care.

Looking for a compassionate person to start immediately, but can wait for the right person.
