The Homecare People are currently looking to recruit a live in carer for a placement in the Wokingham area for one of our clients.  Our client lives with her family and does have dementia and at times experiences episodes of delirium.  With delirium it does mean that our client can be awake for long periods of time, but the family are there to support this and would cover any night periods if the client is awake.

What we are looking for in a live in carer is someone who is very experienced at working with people with dementia and ideally to have some experience of working with delirium previously.  We are looking for someone that would be able to always be a calm and reassuring person and who will work closely with the family to achieve the best outcomes for our client.

We are ideally looking for a live in carer who could work 3 weeks on with 2 weeks off on an ongoing basis and we are offering very good rates of pay for the right candidate.  It is also essential that the right candidate is fluent in English.
