Job Description

A Live-In Carer is required to assist with the care of our two elderly parents.

They both have forms of dementia, though are both able to move around and interact. My father is 92 and my mother is 89

They need help with medication, meal preparation and supervision, personal care and companionship (such as visiting a shop or supermarket from time to time and perhaps visits to a cafe or friend).

We also feel that someone on-site will be helpful in the prevention of potential accidents.

The location is Stebbing, Essex which is about 3 miles from Great Dunmow and 8 miles from Braintree. The accommodation available would be a private bedroom upstairs, a separate bathroom and a private lounge. There is wifi available.

The successful applicant will have a full driving licence and a car. Stebbing is a small village so your own transport will be needed to enable you during your leisure time.

John and Brenda don't need full-time supervision but will benefit from having someone on-site and available if needed.
