Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate female live-in carer to support two spinal injury clients living separately one lives in Skegness and the other in Stickford. The role involves alternating between the clients. You will need to have your own car to travel between each client and to take them to their rehabilitation appointments when required
We will provide you with accommodations for the duration
About the Clients:
Client 1 – Male, 62 (Skegness):
* T12 paraplegic following an RTC
* Lives with a partner
* Attends rehab in Hull twice a week (Tues/Thurs) – long days with 2-hour drive each way
* Support required with rehab routines, transport, and general assistance

Client 2 – Female, 65 (Stickford):
* Thoracic spinal injury following spinal abscess
* Lives with husband; both retired
* Needs encouragement to regain independence and access the community
* Uses FES machine, strider, and attends hydrotherapy weekly
* Enjoys gardening, baking, outdoors – appreciates a quiet, respectful presence
* Approx. 3–6 hours/day on Mon/Wed/Fri
* On-call cover at weekends for both clients
Ideal Carer Profile:
* Female, with previous rehabilitation experience
* Full UK driving licence and own car – essential for appointments
* Non-smoker
* Must be dog-friendly
* Confident, proactive, and respectful of privacy and emotional dynamics
