Job Description

At The Carer Network we are expanding our services, we are now looking for dedicated Live In Carers to join our team covering placements across the South West of England. As a Live In Carer you would be living with an individual in their own home to keep them independent with any daily living tasks, enabling them to stay in a safe place they call home.

The role of a Live In Carer could include:

- Supporting with personal care needs including continence management

- Prompting or administering medication

- liaising with GP's, district nurses and other health care professionals

- Preparing meals and drinks

- Laundry and light domestic duties

- Arranging and attending any appointments and activities

- Moving and Handling including the use of equipment

- Being a companion and a friendly face

We are looking for people that are caring and enjoy helping others, have good communication skills, empathetic and compassionate and willing to provide outstanding, person-centred care.

We require our Live In Carers to have at least a years experience in the care sector.

• Weekly rates of pay between £550- £750 a week, depending on the clients needs

• Free induction and on-going training. Including RQF's from level 2-5 in Health and Social Care
• Access to an on-call team available 24/7 for any emergencies

• Ongoing support with regular supervisions
