 Live-in Carer for Lady with Spinal Cord Injury – Join Our Team 🌟

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carer to support an active, independent-minded lady who lives with her partner. She has a busy and fulfilling life and needs the right person to help her achieve her goals and maintain her lifestyle.

About the Role:

As a live-in carer, you will:

    •    Assist with personal care and daily bowel management

    •    Provide safe moving & handling support, including confident use of a hoist

    •    Support with only passive exercise routines

    •    Massage skills would be a bonus (training can be given)

    •    Help with day-to-day activities and support her busy schedule

    •    Maintain a clean and organised environment

    •    Be prepared to travel occasionally

You must be:

    •    Mentally and physically fit to meet the needs of the role

    •    Clean, hygienic, and reliable

    •    Caring, empathetic, and trustworthy

    •    Flexible, with a positive can-do attitude and initiative

    •    Able to react calmly in emergency situations

    •    Responsible, with a good sense of humour

    •    Interested in your work and take pride in what you do

    •    Knowledgeable in cross-infection control

    •    Confident in moving & handling and hoisting techniques

    •    Comfortable with daily bowel management routines

    •    Massage knowledge or experience is an advantage

    •    A non-smoker

    •    A confident driver

    •    Holder of a British or European passport (for travel) or a valid visa to work in the UK

    •    In possession of an up-to-date DBS check

    •    Able to speak and understand English to a good standard
