Blue Sky Enabling have an exciting job opportunity for 2 live-in carers in Dilton Marsh (food included). You would be working in rotation in a person-centred way with a lovely young man with cerebral palsy and autism and complex needs who lives in his own home. The rota pattern can be decided when we have suitable candidates.  The live-in carer on shift will be supported by another staff member who will be working throughout the day to assist with all personal care and hoisting.  

As part of his collaborative team, you will be supporting him to engage in the community, go to college, do shopping and go out to cafés, go to Boccia, have fun and participate in indoor and outdoor leisure activities etc. You will support him with personal care and all meal planning and cooking. You will encourage and support him to maintain a healthy diet. You will enable him to live a full and engaged life, promoting independence and dignity. 

You will be supported to maintain training relevant to this role. 

Further information about this service user will be provided to the successful applicant at company induction. As a requirement of this position, you must drive, and as of 1.4.22 you must be double vaccinated for covid.
