Arbour Companions & Care is looking for warm, dependable live-in carers to support our clients to live safely and independently in their own homes. You'll be matched with one client, building a relationship that lets you deliver truly person-centred care.

What you'll do

• Support your client with personal care, washing, dressing, medication and mobility
• Prepare meals, keep the home clean and safe, and help with shopping and laundry
• Provide companionship – conversation, outings, hobbies and shared interests
• Follow each client's personalised care plan and record notes on our easy digital system (PASS)
• Work alongside families and health professionals to give the best possible care

What we're looking for

• Female applicants only – due to the personal care needs of our clients, being female is a genuine occupational requirement for this role (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving in the UK
• The right to work in the UK
• A caring, patient nature and a good sense of humour
• Previous care experience preferred, but full training is provided
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this)

What you'll get

• £1000 –£1,120 per week while on placement

• Choice of employed or self-employed status to suit you
• Full training, ongoing support and a dedicated care manager
• Regular breaks between placements and a rota that works for you
