Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Live-In Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support for individuals in their homes. As a self-employed caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring the well-being of the client in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Administer medications and assist with daily routines.
• Help with meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain detailed records of care provided.
• Ensure the client’s safety and comfort at all times.

Requirements:

• Self-employed status: Must be able to work as a self-employed caregiver.
• Mandatory training: Completion of all necessary training (e.g., moving and handling, safeguarding) is required.
• Experience: At least 6 months of professional care experience within the last 5 years.
• DBS: Adult or Adult & Child DBS on the update service.
• References: Two professional references or one professional and one character reference.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to clients’ homes as needed.
• Carer’s Insurance: Must have personal care insurance.
• Right to work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
