Job Description

Hi, I'm looking for a capable carer for my elderly Dad based in a flat in Hove overlooking the seafront.

The job is very much based in the flat, except for a daily 30 mins walk on the prom. He spends most of his time in his armchair overlooking the sea, reading the newspaper, watching TV, browsing Facebook. You'd have 2-3hrs each day free to leave the flat for a break.

The carer would need to be confident with catheter care, strip washing, support with the commode, managing medications, and any future needs.

The carer would have their own room with a new mattress, armchair, wardrobe space, WIFI in this clean, modern apartment. 

There's some light housework & online grocery shopping. We (the family) are supportive and happy to help you by providing any information or equipment which would make your job easier.

Salary depends on experience & PAYE/self employed status, working patterns, etc.
