Key Responsibilities:

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will support clients in their own home, providing high-quality, person-centred care, including:

• Companionship: Offering social interaction and emotional support to promote well-being and reduce loneliness.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals in line with dietary needs and preferences
• Medication Support: Assisting with medication reminders and administration in accordance with care plans.
• Light Housekeeping: Supporting with household tasks such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Transportation: Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping trips, or social activities where required
• Building Relationships: Developing strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families

Essential Requirements:

• Be fluent in English.
• Have a caring, reliable and proactive approach.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• A minimum of 2 years’ Live-in Care experience supporting clients living with dementia in the UK.
• Preferably, hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Preferably, be on the DBS Update Service (otherwise, we will need to process a new DBS check).
