Live-in Care Assistant - Immediate start

At Vitality Live-in Care, we support people to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for dedicated Live-in Care Assistants to join our growing team.

We have both employed and self-employed live-in care opportunities available, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that best suits you.

About the Role

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you’ll live in a customer’s home and provide personalised, one-to-one care and companionship, helping them remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own home.

Your responsibilities may include:

* Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

* Supporting customers with medication.

* Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with eating and drinking.

* Light housekeeping and laundry.

* Shopping and collecting prescriptions.

* Providing companionship and emotional support.

* Supporting customers to attend appointments and social activities.

* Using mobility equipment safely where required.

* Monitoring and reporting any changes in a customer’s health or wellbeing.

* Maintaining accurate care records.

* Working alongside families and healthcare professionals.
