Job Description

Live in Carer with EXTENSIVE Dementia experience sought for a private position to start anytime from 22 June onwards in London SW16.

Must be a driver, able to cook simple food exceptionally well, have a gentle but cheery demeanor and be truly mindful enough to adapt to client's emotional needs. Client is a delightful elderly lady with mixed dementia later stages but still able to communicate. You will need to have an excellent command of English and practice a very client centred approach, be willing to work within a small team and take guidance from them, show initiative with finding activities to do with the client to keep her mind off things and with help around the house.

End of life experience also preferred.

Position is SELF EMPLOYED in a small flat with a lovely room for the carer. Any rota will be considered for the right carer. Daily rate £120-£125 a day.

Someone with a caring or teaching background preferred. Please only apply if you fit the criteria above and have five years or more dementia experience.
