I am an experienced carer and have been working in the care sector for just shy of 7 years. In the years I have worked in this industry I’ve worked in care homes, I’ve done care in the community and I’ve even worked in hospitals - recently, with my most recent clients I’ve been supporting them with live ins so I have been doing these shifts for over 3 years. I have training in moving & handling, first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, infection control, GDPR, medication. I also have experience in working with those who have dimentia, epilepsy, end of life care, continence issues (stoma and catheter care), MS, cancer, diabetes, Parkinson’s, stroke and those who are peg fed.
