I am a South African born British citizen female who has 12 years of full time live in carer experience. I gained this experience having cared for both male, female and couples in their own homes, with care needs ranging from those with dementia in various stages as well as those needing mobility assistance using hoisting and manual handling. I'm currently working as a self employed live in carer in the UK and looking for placements for periods between 4 and 8 week of the year. I consider myself to be a kind, trustworthy, patient person with a quiet sense of humour who enjoys offering individuals the best of care enabling them to continue living safely and as independantly as possible in their own home. My personal interests lie in reading, knitting and needlework, watching drama/concerts/comedies/documentaries on streaming channel TV, theatre and movies, visiting historical venues and garden centres. ...
