I am a Female carer with 3 years live in care experience with adults with cerebral palsy. I have had hands on experience using hoists, slings, ceiling tracks and stand aids as well as all aspects of personal care. I am trained in the use of slide sheets, catheter bag and stoma bag changing although I have had no hands on experience with this. I am trained in food hygine and the storage and administration of medication. I am fully able to run a household, take care of shopping, housework, paying bills, making appointments and looking after pets. I have a full UK driving license and my own car with class 1 business insurance. I am a British citizen, able to work in the UK and my first language is English. I have a current DBS certificate. I am looking for work Nationwide preferably not working longer than 2 weeks at a time on a self employed basis ONLY. I am easy going and positive with a good sense of humour. I do not have any formal work experience but have had a little experience in this field. My uncle had a leg amputated and suffered brain damage.
