I am a mature woman who has worked on and off in caring for others, beginning at 19 when I was a live-in companion to a 93 year old in Ireland. I already had 2 children for whom I was entirely responsible. I came to the UK in 1977 and cared for my father right through to his death from lung/throat cancer in 1983. I have since worked as a massage therapist with many severely unwell clients and worked in a Care Home as a general carer when I came to the SW in 2002. I have a stoma myself and have had breast cancer. I am an enormously compassionate and capable woman, with a lot to offer to the right person... ...

I'm a honest and trustworthy. I have a good sense of humour. I work well as part of a team and also use my own initiative. I get on well with others very quickly and build rapors easily. I have direct sales experience and worked as a palliative carer so know how to communicate well with people. I've had care experience since 1993 when I was a volunteer at a local residential home where I quickly took to the job. I feel care work (especially Palliative) is my vocation in life. I take my job very seriously. While doing other jobs I was looking after my nan. I was also a carer for my ex fiancée. ...
