Although I have no experience as a carer, I do have more than 7 years as a care giver to family and friends. Whilst doing this I gained experience and have been told I’m very patient, friendly, trustworthy and can cook. Other experience I gained is time management, taking family and friends to hospital appointment, reminding them to take medication and exercise by going for walks or chair exercises ...

Following my expression of interest in the position of live in carer, I would like to share with you some of the attributes I have which I believe you will find helpful in considering my application. I am a 61 yr old single lady with no dependents, enabling me to travel at will and to choose my working hours/schedule. I have a full clean driving licence and drive a Peugeot Partner, which is a vehicle that accommodates wheelchair passengers. I am a non-smoker, am fit and well and have no health issues. I like to maintain a healthy diet with home cooked food, and consider myself an above average cook, however I'm prone to the odd cake or pastry! My hobbies are walking, cycling and lots of reading. I'm not glued to a phone or computer, I prefer actual books. That may be an age thing. I love animals and am happy to assist with their care. I have an easy going, positive manner and consider myself to have a good sense of humour. References will affirm that I am reliable, trustworthy, respectful and above all caring. I have an affinity with the elderly and it is often my pleasure to go above and beyond the duty of care. I work well under pressure and am confident in my decision making. I believe it is of the upmost importance to maintain good relationships with my client’s family members and will always listen to their concerns and requests. I work equally well autonomously or as part of a team. Kind Regards Faith. ...

I am a dedicated and hard-working nurse who has always been curious to find answers to some life issues, and one of those was when a family member kept asking what my name was a few times at a gathering. I noticed at the time that something was wrong but did not quite know what it was, this compelled me to become a psychiatry nurse in 2016 hoping for a better understanding of mental illness and how to care for someone . ...
