My name is Barbara and I previously worked as a carer for elderly people going from home to home. More recently I looked after my mother, whom was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The cancer became aggressive and her needs became higher. Originally I would spend the day looking after her then go home but towards the end she needed round the clock care and that is when I begun staying in her home to provide that care.
