I am a mature woman who has worked on and off in caring for others, beginning at 19 when I was a live-in companion to a 93 year old in Ireland. I already had 2 children for whom I was entirely responsible. I came to the UK in 1977 and cared for my father right through to his death from lung/throat cancer in 1983.
