I have worked in care for the past couple of years, including in a school with children with physical and learning disabilities and in a residential home with adults with learning disabilities. I have also worked in home care. I have a certificate in moving and handling and am currently completing my care certificate. Care has always been very important to me as my younger sister has a rare medical condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, meaning that she has to use a wheelchair most of he time as well as other complex needs. It is my hope in the future to go to university and study occupational therapy. Live-in care has always interested me as I love working on a one to one basis and think I would greatly enjoy it. ...

I had training in areas; Health and Safety (including legislation), moving and manual handling, Dementia, prompting medication, infection control, Catheters and Pressure stocking care and Food Hygiene, etc. I was teaching students, including pupils with special physical, emotional and educational needs by utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills.  Physical disabilities  Hard of hearing  Behaviour problems (ADHD, Antisocial Personality Disorder, etc.). I work well as part of a team and individually. I am responsible and reliable. I like working with people, which gives me a lot of joy. I am patient and I am a good listener. I am happy to broadening horizons and increase my knowledge. I am lovely, educated and well-mannered, 53 years old woman and have a great life experience. I was growing up my own son and another one boy since two years old. My son‘s family live in London more than 15 years and my another boy with family live in Sweden about 10 years. Also I have experience in my own mom care. I have always been the soul of my work or friends team. I am really charming in relationships with all people and extremely with seniors. There is no hard work for me, I just love everything what I do. I have been working in Cyprus and England too, but came back to Lithuania for a while to take care of my mom. Now I can take care for other people and seeking for the live-in care job in UK. I have gained a level 2 certificate in person-centred counselling and am working toward the development of other therapeutic skills such as massage. Additionally, following the past year of helping with my Father’s stroke recovery, I wish to gain a deeper understanding of how I may support both of my parents into the future.
