Dear Sir/Madam I wish to apply for the role of Live in Carers as posted on live in care jobs. Although I have no formal Care qualifications I have a great deal of care experience, having been the sole carer of a family member, suffering from a stroke and then dementia, for a period of 3 years. I have also completed a course in care covering everything from personal care, including using hoists, to food hygiene and health and safety. I am currently working weekends for a client with cerebral palsy which I find very rewarding but find the lack of continuity in my care frustrating. I was initially trained as a secretary and I am also computer literate with a Microsoft Office Diploma, therefore, able to assist with all PA services should they be required.
