Hi, I'm 46 years old, receiving my British passport in June. I'm interested in completing a care course and working in the UK as a live in carer. I'm wanting to do 2 week contracts or more. I have brought up 2 children, my daughter is now 16 and my son is 23. I am recently divorced. My experience has been mostly in the service orientated field of hotel, restaurant and sales background. I retired from the police service in 2010 and in the time since I have been involved in the care industry. I have attained a Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care. I have managed a scheme for Independent living with extra care services covering a range of physical disabilities/dementia/parkinsons etc. I have worked as a senior care worker dispensing medication and engaging with multi agency to develop the appropriate the correct level of care.
