I cared both for my Late Mother with Vascular Dementia before she had to receive full-time residential care and for my Late Mother in law who was able to stay at home with my support before she died. I have an HNC & HND in Social Studies, Counselling Skills I & II and did an online dementia course in 2011. I am a fit and active 57 year old, widowed with a grown up family. I am able to locate anywhere at short notice. I am a kind and caring woman with many qualities that I could bring to a care and companionship role.
